What’s up with this blog
Sunday, March 4th, 2007Just a heads-up to those interested in where ePublishingDaily is heading …
It’s getting (as we speak) a major face-lift, it’s moving slightly away from what you normally think of as a blog and it’s becoming more of a newspaper-like publication.
In other words, I’m taking this idea and going full on with it and I ope you’ll come along for the ride.
You can see the tweaking going on here.
Don’t worry about the ePublishingMag domain - that’s just being used as a test site … for now. ;-)

A Big Thank You to John Evans from Syntagma Digital
Saturday, March 3rd, 2007I’d like to publicly thank John Evans who runs Syntagma Digital for the time he has taken to answer some of my questions I put to him privately in regards to running a magazine, particularly the advertising angle. (hint: ePublishingDaily will soon have a sister site…).
John is a busy man and for him to take time out and offer some advice (and the advice was good, indeed) to a fellow online publisher, well … I’ll be forever grateful.
John is moving fast with his online publishing endeavors, this week announcing that he’s opening up the network to new sites and blogs.
Good luck, John … and bring in those big-name advertisers and lead the way for us small publishers.
And did you know that John is feverishly working on a book - one that looks at the insides of running an online publishing firm. This is one book I’m looking forward to.
