For electronically delivered products, ClickBank is without a doubt the most popular online payment and delivery service going around.
The reasons for this are because as well as processing credit cards it also integrates a powerful hands-off affiliate system. For a third-party e-commerce app, ClickBank makes it easy to sell, accept payment and gain access to a large affiliate user base - it’s basically a one-stop destination for information publishers and affiliates alike.

This week produced a handful of posts:
I have had to put forward by a week the two promised posts that were to have appeared this week. I had to do a bit of further research into the feature post on ClickBank that is now ready to go - It’ll appear Monday and it’s a long one.
I have 6 posts lined up this week as I’m slowly ramping up the gears on ePublishing Daily. Look forward to an anouncement later in the week that I’m hoping will take the whole concept of ePublishing Daily further.
Have a good weekend and see you Monday.
PS. Don’t forget to subscribe to my email newsletter - it’s a quick Friday weekly, is spam free and subscribers will soon be offered some freebies. And not just any generic re-sale right gibberish - this is all stuff produced by me … and I take pride in what I produce and put my name to.

As an information product developer you are always on the lookout for emerging trends, because if you get on a growing trend early and start developing products you end up getting the early adopter advantage and that could be the difference between a massive hit of products or ones that are just one of the pack.
Which brings me to this useful post and thread at the Small Business Ideas Forum - Spot emerging-trends by search-engine strategies.
Basically, the post discusses using various phrases in your search to drill down to potential topics.
The techniques discussed there have already gone into my product developers bag of tools - and I urge you to do the same.

Back End Marketing or Back End Selling is where it’s at!
So what is Back-End Selling?
Back-end selling is a vital part of any marketing effort - and none more so that in the information publishing business. Basically, back-end selling is selling another product to the same customer after an initial sale.
Here’s the scenario. You’ve just sold a product to a new customer. Congrats, but your job is not over.

Many blogs give me a headache. Why? I’ve figured it out: it’s the sidebar that is choc-a-bloc filled with everything and then the kitchen sink.
If you’re considering marketing your information product(s) via a blog - and I’m a firm believer in doing so - then I have one tip for you: strip that sidebar bare and start over again.

As you can see, a little bit of tweaking went on here - gosh damn it, why doesn’t it ever work the same in Firefox as well as in Internet Explorer??? I wasted a good hour or three tweaking bits n’ pieces of this code to get it to fit so that it would show properly in IE.
I swear if IE doesn’t become css standands compliant in version 7 I’m putting up a huge sticker here reading:

Far from being an instant PayPal killer, Google Checkout - not the rumoured GBuy - which received massive coverage recently upon its launch is aimed primarily at shoring up its AdWords business.
