Previously I introduced you to a free online pdf generator - Need to Create a Quick PDF? - that allowed you to create a PDF document online within minutes.
But for those that like to have a little control (ie: like me you still feel more comfortable doing it from the desktop) then PrimoPDF may be more suitable for you.
PrimoPDF is a free PDF converter (9.8Mb). It simply acts as a printer driver so when you are ready with your document you select print but rather than printing it out you select the PrimoPDF option. From there you get a basic set of options to choose from, including various security features.
For those that just need the basics (with just a little cool stuff included) then this one is for you. For information publishers, it’s a must-have item in your bag of tools.

In my build-up to launching ePubDaily I came across an April ‘06 BusinessWeek article titled “Blooks” Are In Bloom that, as you’ll see, interested me big time.
So what is a blook?
Books based on blogs - dubbed “blooks” by Jeff Jarvis, of the popular BuzzMachine.com - are making a big splash in book publishing.

Interesting conversation going on in a previous post - Price Points: $47… , and it’s an issue that all information publishers must eventually face: How to price your eBook.
So of course, in my quest to gain as much knowledge on this as possible, I went trawling across the web and came upon an article titled (take a guess) … How to Price Your eBook.

Yes, the eBook market hasn’t reached the levels many had hoped for (yet) but there is one digital market that is booming: the audio book market.
The UK’s Financial Times in their article Audio books open a new chapter in digital age talks of a boom in the digital audio book market…
